I grew up learning yoga. However, I took a break for the last several years as life took on a hectic pace with additional family and work responsibilities. I was fortunate to get a chance to restart it with an amazing teacher like Ujwala and the Samatvam team! Ujwala’s enthusiasm and dedication shines through every class and makes each session better than the previous one just when one thought it couldn’t get any better. She has the knack of adapting a session to the ability of the class and her encouraging, soothing tones make for a really invigorating experience. She is very faithful to traditional yoga practise but adapts and translates the postures into practical, everyday language. The most amazing part of the session is her Pranayaam practice and the effects it has on the body and mind. This has helped me cope with my sever sinus issues! She is eager to share both traditional and modern techniques, supported by scientific explanations staying true to the spirit of yoga as a philosophical and spiritual practice. Absolutely love it!

Hi! I am Chitra Ingle. I am very fortunate to know Ujwala since the last two years and to learn yogic practices from her which doesn’t just focus on the physical aspect of the body but takes care of the mental (mind) aspect as well. Reshma is a beautiful human who clearly lives and breathes yoga. It was wonderful to be in her presence and learn her immense knowledge and skills that she passes on. Her teaching style challenges you to think about the content and question any pre-conceived ideas. This community was very enriching and whenever I needed a motivation to continue, one of you had passed a teaching test, which in turn encouraged me to tackle the next section of the learning diary. Of course, a special thank you also goes to Patricia Römpke, who has always been a loving and constant companion in my 500 hours of yoga training. She impressed me from the beginning with her warm personality. Her way of dealing with me as a student is remarkable. Sometimes, during the long period of time, I felt overwhelmed to finish my training in addition to work and family. She kept asking how things were going and offered support. In terms of content, the amount of material was a lot, but it took the pressure off my shoulders with ease. I am very happy and very grateful to have walked this path to becoming a yoga teacher with Patricia. My personal development in the more than two years with her as a companion is invaluable.

Ujwala, is a great yoga teacher. She has acquired immense knowledge through decades of learning from great Indian yoga gurus and accomplished yoga teachers, including Guru B. K. S. Iyengar and its clearly evident from the very first few minutes of a session with her. I was so lucky to find her and the Samatvam yoga practice in Las Vegas! She has curated yoga lessons in a beautiful routine that is different every time. I have gained knowledge and benefited from each of her asana and meditation sessions. I have personally noted a marked difference in my overall health and medical condition like arthritis and chronic pain and the Samatvam yoga sessions always leave me feeling an enhanced sense of overall mental well-being. I also highly recommend that you try her deep meditation and pranayama sessions, which helps activate the vagus nerve and parasympathetic response leaving one feeling totally relaxed, de-stressed and refreshed.
